New Formula: NingXia Red
Recently NingXia Red® was reformulated. The new formula tastes delicious and contains an increase in whole fruits and superior quality edible essential oils. Essential oils pass through cell walls very easily; their ability to pass easily allows the nutrients of NingXia Red® to be more readily absorbed by the body, a synergistic effect. It is the inclusion of essential oils in NingXia Red® that make it a far superior nutritional product than all other competitors.
Another factor which sets NingXia Red® apart from all other energy juices is the species of wolfberry, Lycium barbarum grown in a particular region of the world. What many don’t realize is that specific soil and climatic conditions play a huge role in which nutrients and minerals any vegetable, fruit, or herb contain. In other words, if certain minerals are not in the soil they will never be present in the harvested produce. The NingXia Provence of China is a unique place, minerals and other natural sediments flow through this region which makes them available to the NingXia wolfberry plants to absorb. - The agave syrup was replaced with zero-calorie stevia extract (Rebaudioside A), which decreased NingXia Red’s overall sugar content to 2 grams per serving.
- The addition of patented grape seed extract (GSE) increased S-ORAC levels 50 percent and improved the polyphenolic content. The switch from grape pomace to GSE has allowed NingXia Red® to apply for Halal and Kosher certification.
- Pure vanilla extract is strongly aromatic and contributes warm, floral notes to NingXia Red®. It has a gentle but distinct flavor that complements many other flavors in the new formula.
- Pectin is a natural fiber present in fruit that has been used in the new NingXia Red® to provide a rich mouth feel, increase viscosity, and improve fruit-pulp suspension.
- A recommended increase in the serving size for NingXia Red® is based on recent studies on consumption of wolfberries and whole-fruit juices, recommending up to 4 ounces a day to have the most beneficial effect.
