It’s only Wednesday, but your body feels like it’s Friday night, 10pm. You’re exhausted, and everything you own hurts, from your 10 little piggies to the top of your head. You’re balancing your checkbook in your head, figuring out the food shopping list, and dreading the weekend cleaning and chores. As you slip into bed, wondering if you can shut your brain off long enough to get a few hours of sleep, you realize your feet really do hurt, your back is quite sore, and your neck and shoulders are stiff as a board, holding all of your tension. Great, now what do you do?
A full body massage would be heavenly, but it’s 10pm, so that’s not happening. Well, if you enjoy the benefits of Young Living essential Oils, you’ve most likely got a case full of oils sitting at the ready. Now what do you do? A foot or hand massage is a quick, fantastic idea, and, if you’ve got a partner or child old enough, they can give you a back, neck, head, hand or foot massage. During the winter months there is usually a higher amount of air pollution and bacteria in the air than at other times of the year due to an increase in the closed doors and windows and the fact that cold air keeps air pollution closer to the ground. This increased pollution can lead to respiratory issues for some. The anti-viral, anti-bacterial, and antiseptic properties of pure therapeutic-grade essential oils, along with the negative ions and oxygenating molecules which are released when essential oils are diffused all help to reduce bacteria, odors in the air. Therapeutic-grade essential oils never mask odors, they purify the air of odors and bacteria causing germs. When higher quality essential oils are diffused the results go beyond basic aromatherapy!

Producing pure unadulterated essential oils is very costly. It often requires several hundred or even thousands of pounds of raw plant material to produce a single pound of essential oil. For example, it can take 2 – 3 tons of melissa plant material to produce one pound of melissa essential oil. Its extremely low yield explains why it sells for $9,000 to $15,000 per kilo.
