Autoship is system whereby a company rewards loyal customers with lower prices. Many companies make use of it to provide a constant stream of product to their customers. It is used mostly by companies that sell consumables, however, some companies that do not sell consumables use it as well.
It comes in many guises. Young Living has an autoship program. Time magazine has an autoship program. The Wall Street Journal has an autoship program. Anything you have delivered on a regular basis is an autoship program. A book of the month club, the cheese of the month club and others like them are autoship programs. Even your home delivered newspaper can be an autoship program. Some of the names are autoship, continuity, home delivery, club and others.
Companies such as Guthy-Renker (having products like Wen by Chaz Dean, Principle Secret by Victoria Principle, Natural Advantage by Jane Seymore and others) and Young Living excel at the autoship program. The important thing is to understand how the program works and to use it to your benefit.
