Instead of purchasing standard household cleaners for surfaces and anti-bacterial cleaners, you can create your own all-natural and safe version of these products by filling a plastic spray bottle with water and adding some unadulterated essential oils. Yes, it is that easy to do!
How to Make Your Own Lemon Spray Cleaner
First, you will need a high quality essential oil, one that is unadulterated and of superior grade (such as Young Living Oils) will be the only type that will provide the results you want to achieve.
Combine 2–5 drops of lemon essential oil with water in a 4 oz. spray bottle filled with water.
Shake the spray bottle well, and your homemade cleaner is ready to spray!
Use this spray to clean and sanitize surfaces in the kitchen and bathroom.
This simple solution is extremely economical, yet it cleans and disinfects as well as, and often times much better than, any commercial cleaner on the market.
This spray can also be used as an air freshener to kill, not mask, bacteria and odors in the air!

“I have been making all of my own household cleaning products and air freshening products for over 25 years and have saved myself a small fortune. But mostly, I have felt amazingly good that I am playing a significant role in protecting the environment. I will never in my lifetime go back to using store-bought cleaners again, it just doesn’t make any sense to buy and use them.” ~ Evelyn
Please keep in mind that some of the oils, if used directly, may stain some surfaces, such as linoleum. So do a test spot first to determine. I personally have never had an essential oil stain any surface in my home, but do check ahead of time to make sure.

Therapeutic-grade essential oils can give us a wide range of emotional and physical emotional benefits at the same time. The effects of aroma therapy are far-reaching, providing us with benefits not found in lesser products.

Air fresheners are a huge business. We all want our homes, cars and workplaces to smell fresh and clean, vibrant or relaxing. So, when we’re shopping and smell a fragrance like vanilla, or one that reminds us of our childhood home or garden, instinctively we reach for it and put it in our cart, because the smell made us happy, or maybe relaxed. Not once do we stop to read the list of ingredients in that scented candle or spray air freshener. After all, if it says “vanilla” or “lavender”, we expect we are in fact smelling real vanilla or lavender.

We, John Q. Public, believe that our government and Medical monitoring agencies have out best interest at heart, and will protect us and keep us safe from harm. Sadly, that it not the case many times. Many of the household cleaning products we use in homes are actually health hazards.
