I came across this recipe and testimonial on which essential oils to use for Tendinitis in my files and thought it might be helpful…
Essential Oil Recipe for Tendinitis
This has worked for my tendinitis and for several other people I have given it to. In a 15 ml amber glass bottle I mix the following therapeutic-grade Young Living Essential Oils:
- 3 drops Helichrysum essential oil
- 3 drops Black Pepper essential oil
- 3 drops Bergamot essential oil
- 3 drops Geranium essential oil
- 5 drops Idaho Balsam Fir essential oil
- 5 drops Lemongrass essential oil
- 3 drops Hyssop essential oil
- 3 drops Blue Tansy essential oil
- 3 drops Pine essential oil
- 3 drops Myrtle essential oil
- V-6 Massage Oil
Then I fill the bottle with V-6 Massage Oil . This is applied to the area where the pain is and followed with a layer of Peppermint oil. This can be done several times per day. If a skin sensitivity develops, stop using it for a few weeks. [or simply dilute the mixture a bit more with V-6 Massage Oil]” ~ J.S.
Hip Joint Discomfort
“My husband has been experiencing some joint discomfort in his hips when he retires for the night. I suggested he try the Copaiba essential oil for his joint discomfort. He feels this has been effective to reduce his discomfort and helps him get a better night’s sleep.” ~ Barbara L.
The reason I included this second testimonial is because the essential oil Copaiba is a very powerful anti-inflammatory and you may want to include a few drops of it when making the blend mentioned above for Tendinitis.
Do keep in mind that only therapeutic-grade essential oils provide benefits.
