In these times we live in, we often are in search of help with our mental clarity and relaxation and for ways that may help in our prayer and meditation practices. Cedarwood essential oil is an essential oil that may help in these areas.

Essential oils are the direct creation of God’s word. They possess divine intelligence, and prayer intensifies healing.

It used to be that religion and priests, were our healers. They healed with prayer and essential oils. Physicians today, at least the majority, do not heal, they use drugs and allopathic ways that are really more around science, pharmaceutical drugs and also are void of prayer.

When using therapeutic-grade essential oils, also incorporate prayer. Keep applying and praying until you are better. It is God’s intent to use plants for medicines, guided by prayer.

Cedarwood (cedrus atlantica) produced mainly in Morocco, is the species most closely related to the cedars of Lebanon. King David and King Solomon used this wood for the construction of their palaces because of its aromatic oil content which lasts indefinitely.

Used by the Sumerians and Egyptians more than 5000 years ago, Cedarwood essential oil is believed to have been the first oil to be obtained by distillation. It was known as the oil of gladness in ancient times, and was used for a variety of purposes including temple worship, mood elevation, disinfecting, hygienic purposes and mental clarity.

Of all essential oils, cedarwood is highest in sesquiterpenes, which are oxygen-delivering molecules capable of crossing the blood-brain barrier.
