Hi,
I’m a new Thieves user and was curious about putting in on the bottom of my child’s feet before he go to school to help protect him. My first question (or clarification) is, do I put one drop thieves in one tsp. of carrier oil? Once I’m finished, how do I store the remaining oil, and for how long dose it store for?
Thank you.Hi Annie,
Yes, 1 drops of Thieves to one teaspoon of carrier oil is the correct ratio for children. You can make the mixture in a baby food jar, always use glass though as sometimes essential oils can react with certain plastics. Some carrier oils don’t last long before going rancid. I have always used Young Living’s V-6 as my carrier oil because it’s a really nice quality product and non-staining. I have found making mixtures with V-6 to last 9 months, actually they could last longer in a glass jar but I’ve always used them up by then and they have not gone rancid. ~ Evelyn
