It is always quite a satisfying feeling to know how to be able to make products you use everyday yourself. After having been away from commercial, chemical cleaners for so long, I almost grow nauseous when I make a wrong turn in the store and end up accidentally going down the cleaning aisle. I wonder how I put up with the chemical fumes before! I cannot count the number of times I used a chemical cleaning product, only to have a scratchy throat after. It truly is great knowing how to make my own safe, effective, and even disinfecting cleaning products.

You can make your own cleaning products too! It is so easy you’ll laugh! And the best part of all, you nor your family will be exposed to the hazardous chemicals in cleaning agents. With adults having an average of 455 chemical products in their bodies, and babies being pre-born with up to 300 in theirs (which have been linked to serious problems, including childhood cancer, ADD and more) creating your own chemical free cleaning products is a very good thing! Oh, and did I mention cheaper too?

This scrub is just one of my homemade cleaning products. It can be used in bathrooms, kitchens, on pots and pans, ovens, and wherever you need a gentle, non-scratching cleaner.
