Flu Season Has Hit

Flu season has hit already in some Washington colleges.  The pharmaceutical companies are pushing the flu shots as they do each and every year.  I’m pushing to prepare our selves and to protect our selves not only during the flu season but all year round.

I have been involved with Young Living Therapeutic Grade™ (YLTG) essential oils since 1996 and I am continually learning all the time.  I can very happily and proudly say that I have NOT been sick with the flu for many years. I really can’t remember the last time I was sick with the flu but I know it has been more then 10 years.  I do NOT get a flu shot every year.  Instead I take preventative medicine seriously.

No Chemicals – No Toxins

1. Thieves Waterless Hand Sanitizer - cleanses, protects and does not dry your skin.  Plus it does not have the bad ingredients that are in other commercial hand sanitizers.  It IS free of toxins and chemicals.  It comes in a very convenient size that fits nicely in your purse or pocket. It does not take up much space and is good to have on hand where ever you are.  Have you ever paid attention to when you are at the doctors office to see if people are washing there hands?  I religiously use our sanitizer while at the doctors office.  And of course it is excellent to have on hand (haha) to apply after using a public restroom. It is even good to have with you when shopping to clean the handles of shopping carts.  In my opinion our children should have Thieves Waterless Hand Sanitizer with them at school.
2. Thieves Spray works in the same way. It is a matter of choice. Thieves spray also comes in handy should you get a cut.  All you need do is spray it on the cut.
3. Thieves Foaming Hand Soap is at every sink in my home. Cleans and protects your hands and your hands feel very soft afterwards.
4. Thieves Household Cleaner is very concentrated. I put a cupful in a 16 ounce container and keep it handy at my kitchen sink to spray my counters, chopping blocks, sink and even my fruit and vegetables, which I rinse after spraying.

Thieves Essential Oil is huge too have on hand.  I diffuse it often and most specifically if I have been around anyone that has a “bug”, or if I feel a bit off with how I am feeling.  I also keep an inhaler in my car that I have put Thieves oil on, to have the added benefit of Thieves with me while on the road.  If by chance I feel a slight bit of a sore throat I do 2 things, one would be to apply 2-4 drops of Thieves with V-6 or a carrier oil onto my throat and chest.  Then I would take:
6. Inner Defense 1 capsule in the morning if I have any signs of change to my health, like a “drippy” nose.  For me that is all I need to do and the drippy nose does not progress into something worse.
7. NingXia Red does not have Thieves in it but I drink one to two ounces every day to help to strengthen my immune system and to fight the free radicals we are constantly being bombarded with.
