Nourishing Picky Little Eaters

There are so many reasons I purchase from Young Living, but I would have to admit that the biggest reason of all is because I do not want my children to be without the nutritious products Young Living has to offer. For just one example out of many, I will give you the example of how my extremely picky eater was helped by two of Young Living’s nourishing and gently cleansing products, Balance Complete and NingXia Red. When my son was around age two he went through the picky eater stage which lasted for what seemed like forever, and naturally I became worried that he was not getting enough nutrition. A friend told me once that her pediatrician explained to her that often times small children will go through this stage because of allergies, but that they are short term which is why doctors seldom test for them. I had learned before that allergies can be aggravated by inadequate nutrition and even possibly toxins in the system, and so I wanted to do something to nourish my son while we waited it out and kept trying different foods on him. I started looking into some kind of yummy, nutritious shake I could give to him and after reading the nutrition panel for Balance Complete and Ningxia Red I realized the two were not only a perfect source of nutrition but that they both gently cleansed as well. I began giving him one scoop of Balance Complete every morning in his milk or juice along with an ounce of NingXia Red.

I never once had to beg my son to ingest these products, he LOVED them and would actually request them! Within a short amount of time, I noticed his bowel movements became easy and very regular (before, he would have a day here and there where he was constipated). I noticed that his skin color also began to improve as he gained some color to his cheeks. Dark circles under the eyes have always run in my family, and I noticed these went away on him. Soon, my son’s appetite increased dramatically and it made me wonder if he did have allergies before and if the concept of nourishing and cleansing the body did make them go away. It was less then a month into his little program of Balance Complete and NingXia Red when he would go open the refrigerator and request more food to eat! To this day, I notice that when my son is on these products he is less irritable, eats better, and when he gets a cold it doesn’t last as long.

Studies are popping up everywhere about how today’s food does not have the same nutrition as food did 50 years ago due to the standard industrial farming practices. According to popular sites such as put out by Mother Earth News, today’s food lacks between 30 to 50% less vitamins and minerals. Even if it did have adequate amounts of vitamins and minerals, I maintain that it would still be hard to get the recommended intake diet down a toddler! To compound the problem, children’s poor little bodies are exposed to far more contaminants then prior generations; for example an article done by New York Times exposed that baby food actually has traces of pesticides; this is awful! Considering all these things it becomes apparent that children’s health is in danger. Gratefully, Young Living provides some wonderful products for ensuring proper nutrition for adults and children, and I think that children are especially in need of the extra help these days. NingXia Red and Balance Complete are both extremely nutritious and you will not have to beg your child to take them! NingXia Red even comes in singles that can be frozen and eaten like Popsicles; treats don’t get any healthier then that!
