Our pets are part of our family and we love them and want to take good care of them. If they have fleas or even anxiety issues, we want to help them to be comfortable. We should stay away from chemicals and toxins and find natural remedies to help them.
I could write a short story on how I have used therapeutic-grade essential oils with my pets and the stories of my friends using natural products on their pets. I will start with a friend who has show dogs. She one day asked me; “Is there an essential oil that could help one of my show dogs, who is extremely timid, to be able to perform better? I know Young Livings essential oils are pure and therapeutic-grade, and I want a natural remedy, rather then using synthetics or chemicals.
I immediately thought of two of our blends; Peace and Calming and Valor. I explained to her that the Peace and Calming may help her dog to be more relaxed and the Valor could give him courage and confidence.* I said to her: “It is very important to always remember to use less oils on pets. What you should do is first put 1 drop of Peace and Calming in the palm of your hand, rub your hands together in a clock wise motion, and then “massage” them onto the pads of the dogs feet. Let him rest a few minutes and you should see a noticeable difference in his attitude. Next, do the same with the Valor.”
The next time I saw her she came up to me and said: ” Oh my gosh, I could not believe how the oils changed him. He had the best show he ever has, he was calm and pranced with confidence and when he was up on the podium, he stood like a rock. Thank you so much!! I need these oils!! And I know more dog handlers are going to want to purchase the oils, so how do I start a business with Young Living Therapeutic Essential Oils?” I showed her how to become a wholesale member and to make some extra money too. And now her “dog” friends are using the oils too!!
On another topic, have you seen on the news lately how pet owners are having severe problems with there cats and dogs with the flea products that they are using? Some get terrible allergic skin reactions, some get very ill, and many are dying. I wanted to jump into the television and say: “Hello!! I know you all love your pets and want the best for them, so listen up, this is what I do for my pets, a natural remedy of and essential oil blend of Purification.” I use it on my cat. I use one drop for the cat and put the essential oil in the palm of my hand, rub my hands together. Then I massage the back of his neck and the pads of his feet and I finish giving him a good petting. Lot’s of love and good health to all our pets!!
We love our pets and we have to take care of them, because they can not take care of themselves. Why not give them a better quality of life by loving them with natural products to assure them a healthier life!
